Additionally, the role involves introducing news correspondents reporting on scene, asking relevant questions, and interviewing guests involved in particular stories. The position also requires keeping abreast of news developments by studying papers, attending events, and maintaining contact with industry professionals. Writing for the station's website and maintaining an active social media presence are also part of the job. The candidate will make daily promotional community appearances, provide leadership in the newsroom, and contribute to the overall team effort while complying with the moral code of the journalistic profession.
