About the position

The Multimedia Specialist role focuses on video production and editing, requiring a creative individual with experience in videography, photography, and social media content creation. The position involves working collaboratively or independently to produce high-quality visual content for various platforms, including YouTube and social media, while managing production equipment and adhering to deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit short and long-form content for various outlets.
  • Work collaboratively with the team or independently on individualized projects.
  • Edit video/photo and marketing content at an expert level using applications like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience shooting with prosumer and cinema-grade camera systems like the Arri Alexa, Sony FX9, and Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro.
  • Properly set up and monitor audio for studio and field shoots.
  • Shoot in various visual styles depending on the subject matter and vision communicated by the director/producer.
  • Manage and maintain production equipment.
  • Manage media in a DIT capacity.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to keep the company current in film production and marketing trends.
  • Shoot and edit drone footage.
  • Create and manipulate 3D motion graphics.
  • Complete all other duties assigned by the production team.

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional experience as a Videographer.
  • 3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
  • 3 years of professional experience as a photographer.
  • Expert-level use of Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer.
  • Extensive knowledge of audio operating and mixing.
  • Technical knowledge of studio lighting and photo shoots for online/social media use.
  • Technical knowledge of studio production and location shooting/set up video equipment.
  • Ability to color grade.
  • Experience working with jibs, gimbals, and other advanced camera stabilization systems.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, manage time, and identify resources for projects.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Understanding of social media platforms and engagement.
  • Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of the automotive or powersports performance industries.
  • Positive attitude with good communication and teamwork skills.
