About the position

Univision San Antonio is seeking a Multimedia Technician to join their team, responsible for the development and production of promotional content across various platforms including TV, radio, and digital. This hands-on role requires creativity and technical skills in multimedia production, including video, graphics, and audio editing, as well as live broadcast operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical production and promotional support for live broadcasts, news, and commercial productions.
• Edit and create multimedia content including video, graphics, and audio.
• Manipulate creative artwork and write scripts for various projects.
• Perform VizRT operations during live broadcasts.
• Collaborate with news producers to create and review graphic rundowns for live broadcasts.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Adobe CC suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition).
• Experience with professional camcorders and DSLRs (Canon, Panasonic, and Sony).
• Familiarity with field production lighting, audio recording, and green screen techniques.
• Knowledge of iNews, VizRT, vCreative, Smartsheet, and news gathering tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Fluency in written and oral Spanish and English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Smartsheet and news gathering tools.
• Knowledge of content production for linear, digital, and social/emerging platforms.
