About the position

The position involves multiple Senior Java Developer roles in Plano, TX, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing web-based Java applications to meet business requirements. The developers will work with both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring high availability and performance of applications while following approved life cycle methodologies. The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and the ability to resolve technical issues through debugging and research.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
• Create design documents and perform software development (coding) and testing.
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building and enhancing highly available applications leveraging Angular UI and RESTful services.
• 5 years of experience writing unit tests to achieve 100% coverage and building automated test scripts (ATDD).
• 3 years of experience working with Jenkins jobs and enhancing the CI/CD process.
• Good understanding of Docker, AWS EC2 and ECS, and databases in the cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in the field or related area.
