Municipal Design Civil Engineer

About the position

The Municipal Design Civil Engineer at SRF Consulting Group is responsible for the design and management of municipal infrastructure projects in urban settings. This role involves collaborating with a team of professionals to produce high-quality construction plans and documents, evaluate design alternatives, and engage in client development. Responsibilities

• Assist the design team in producing quality products for clients.
• Engage in a positive work environment with an open mind to learning new skills and software associated with typical project requirements.
• Be an active participant on a collaborative design team with other groups/disciplines within SRF.
• Exhibit quality day-to-day work in line with SRF's quality management plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineering Licensure or desire to pursue professional engineering licensure
• 3 or more years of related civil engineering experience
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley 3D design tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Interest or passion for involvement in the development of local and nationwide innovative active transportation projects
• Self-starter, collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication skills.
