About the position
The Murex PM (Senior Consultant) role involves providing project management support to technology delivery teams within the Capital Markets Team. The position requires managing the software development lifecycle, from business scoping and requirements gathering to technology implementation, ensuring effective cross-functional delivery across multiple products.
Responsibilities
- Maintain program scope, governance, and communication plan
- Create project meeting materials and meeting output as per the communication plan
- Track open items, issues, and risks log during daily technology touchpoints
- Prepare weekly status reports to support program governance
- Develop bi-weekly Steering Committee presentations including program status and key risks
- Manage and track integrated end-to-end program plans
- Coordinate vendor dependencies and logistics for program activities
- Oversee overall testing activities and monitor test planning and execution
- Manage defect management process using Company JIRA tool and vendor tool
- Ensure timely scheduling to merge defect fixes into test environments
- Host meetings with vendors to resolve open defects and monitor testing progress
- Develop key metrics to report test status including progress and open defects.
Requirements
- Experience in project management within Capital Markets
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in managing program scope and governance
- Ability to create and present project meeting materials
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and dependencies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Murex software
- Knowledge of risk management and testing processes
- Familiarity with financial derivatives and market risk metrics.
