About the position

The Accounting Clerk position at FBMM is a full-time role focused on managing various accounting tasks for a leading entertainment business management firm. The role is remote and requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will support the financial operations of the firm, ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and other financial reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable (A/R and A/P)
  • Process payroll and employee reimbursements
  • Handle company credit card statements
  • Update and report on 401K eligibility and benefits
  • Maintain client invoices and billbacks
  • Manage local taxes and non-taxed sales
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Maintain and distribute assorted company reports, flowcharts, and databases
  • Prepare weekly reports including insurance and balances
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PDF
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills
