About the position

The Music Executive for Amazon Studios in Italy will play a crucial role in overseeing music production for original film and TV projects. This position requires a highly organized individual with extensive experience in the music entertainment industry, particularly in film and TV music supervision and licensing. The Music Executive will utilize their knowledge and relationships within the industry to support successful projects and ensure the effective management of music budgets, talent deals, and music delivery.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and tracking of music budgets, talent deals, composers, scoring process, music delivery, and music licensing.
• Supervision of productions in this territory.
• Utilize a deep understanding of music licensing for film and TV in Italy to make recommendations to senior leadership to ensure success of projects.
• Partner effectively across internal divisions and with external partners using excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in the Film/TV Music entertainment industry.
• Experience providing in-house music support for a TV or film production company.
• Film & TV Music supervision and music licensing experience.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Robust knowledge of the music nuances in producing locally in Italy.
