The Music Program Social Media Coordinator at Linn-Benton Community College is responsible for managing the social media presence of LB Choirs across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and X. This role involves creating engaging content, collaborating with other departments, and executing marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and engagement of LB Choirs.

Responsibilities

• Post creative weekly updates about LB Choirs' activities to engage the audience.
• Connect with other organizations via social media.
• Collaborate with Advancement-Marketing and Raymund for content creation.
• Engage with social media followers to foster community.
• Develop innovative strategies to promote LB Choirs' message through social media.
• Execute the marketing plan in collaboration with LBCC Advancement.
• Grow the follower base each term.
• Post content on YouTube, SoundCloud, and other audio/visual media services.
• Ensure all posted content complies with copyright laws.
• Consult with Raymund regarding which pieces to post.
• Explore creative uses of audio/visual and social media to promote LB Choirs.
• Attend weekly 10-minute stand-up meetings on Mondays at 2:50 PM.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have social media experience, either personal or professional.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with others.
• Must have experience with digital audio/visual sites.
• Must have video and sound editing experience.
