Music Teacher - Early Childhood Education

About the position

Bach to Rock is seeking part-time Early Childhood Education Teachers to provide music and performance lessons to young students at their Nashville West location. The role involves using the B2R curriculum to deliver engaging music education to children aged 0 to 7 years, fostering a love for music through performance, recording, and composition.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute the Bach to Rock early childhood curriculum as designed.
• Prepare for and deliver instruction using detailed lesson plans for various age groups.
• Create a warm and welcoming class environment for young children.
• Encourage and educate caregivers attending class with their children.
• Receive and apply constructive feedback on teaching techniques.

Requirements

• Demonstrate an understanding of basic music concepts and communicate them appropriately to young children.
• Ability to play a musical instrument, preferably piano, keys, or guitar.
• Ability to sing in tune and a cappella.
• Ability to operate basic sound equipment and computers.
• Must be physically present at the facility during operational hours.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Education in Elementary Education, Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or Music Therapy, or currently enrolled in a related degree program.
