About the position

The Music Teacher position at Easton Music Academy involves providing private and group music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one private lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Lead group classes for children and adults
• Direct and mentor students in Rock Band classes, encouraging teamwork and performance skills
• Create personalized lesson plans and learning goals for each student
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
• Track student progress and communicate with students and their families about goals and accomplishments
• Participate in recitals, performances, and other events hosted by the academy

Requirements

• Degree in Music, Music Education, or equivalent experience preferred
• Proven experience teaching music to students of all ages (children, teens, and adults)
• Proficiency in at least one instrument (multiple instruments a plus!)
• Ability to teach students of varying skill levels
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
• Passion for music education and performance
• Must be dependable, professional, and committed to student success
• Background check required
