About the position
Duval Dance and Music Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to inspire students in grades K-12. The role involves teaching private music lessons, developing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a supportive environment for students to express themselves musically. Responsibilities
- Teach private music lessons to students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that align with each student's learning style and musical interests.
- Create a fun, supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves musically.
- Teach students fundamental music theory, instrument techniques, and vocal skills as appropriate.
- Foster positive relationships with students and their families, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.

- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse skill levels and learning needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related certification.
- Previous experience teaching music to children, especially in a K-12 setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
