The Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School is seeking a transformative music educator for its Kindergarten through 8th grade arts-infused program. Responsibilities

• Teach music and vocal instruction to students in grades K-8.
• Integrate arts into the curriculum to enhance learning across subjects.
• Collaborate with grade level teams to plan and execute content that supports thematic examination.
• Implement restorative practices in the classroom to create a safe and nurturing environment.
• Engage students in project-based learning and social-emotional learning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field.
• CT State Certification 049 required.
• Experience teaching elementary or middle grade students.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Proven record of accomplishment in instructing diverse learners.
