About the position
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Activities Therapy, this position is responsible for providing meaningful activities and therapeutic interventions for residents in compliance with State and Federal regulations and the facility guidelines. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful activities and therapeutic interventions for residents.
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and facility guidelines.
- Perform duties in alignment with the hospital's mission and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Rehabilitation Therapy, or a related field with emphasis in therapeutic delivery of services.
- Competency in the degreed field.
- Must acquire a Missouri Chauffeur's License (Minimum Class E or above) within 90 days.
- BLS-CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification is required.
