About the position

We are seeking a creative Music Video Editor based in Brooklyn to enhance our music video projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of rhythm and pacing, able to edit footage that flows seamlessly with the beat of the song while adhering to pre-selected scenes.

Responsibilities

• Edit music videos to create a visually appealing and engaging final product.
• Ensure the pacing of the edits matches the rhythm of the music.
• Follow the already selected scenes and enhance them to improve the overall quality of the video.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision for each project.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a music video editor with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong creative skills with an ability to visualize and execute edits that enhance the music.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with color grading and sound design.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
