About the position

The Musical Theatre Program Manager at Kid Stock Inc. is responsible for the effective management of performing arts education programs, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic direction and mission. This role involves program planning, day-to-day operations management, staff scheduling, and acting as a liaison between Kid Stock and its partners. The Program Manager will also oversee financial planning, marketing, and communications related to the programs, while providing support and guidance to instructors and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide key input for the development of the organization's strategic plan.
  • Manage the implementation of day-to-day operations for Kid Stock's programs.
  • Monitor and report on the delivery of Kid Stock's programs, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission.
  • Act as a liaison between Kid Stock and its partners, gathering information on program needs.
  • Participate in the selection of production themes and coordinate preparation of corresponding content.
  • Provide bi-weekly program reports to the Program Director.
  • Schedule and assign staff for all programs.
  • Serve on the hiring panel and provide recommendations regarding program staff.
  • Facilitate training and professional development for program instructors and staff.
  • Supervise volunteer activities as requested by the Program Director.
  • Monitor program budgets and resources, reporting discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Represent Kid Stock Inc. at community or industry events as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of teaching experience or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of program management experience.
  • 1+ years of budget management experience.
  • Driver's License and transportation required.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and program management software.
