About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Berlin-Wheeler, Inc. is responsible for processing inbound calls related to medical transportation requests. Responsibilities

• Process inbound calls by verifying demographic information and initiating requests for medical transportation.
• Maintain control of conversations and ensure accurate information is taken.
• Interface with callers, including health plans, medical providers, and transportation vendors, providing courteous service.
• Generate courtesy calls and maintain data records for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide quality customer interaction while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high quality standards in call handling and issue resolution.
• Meet performance standards within one week of completing training, including talk time and call volume expectations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; college education preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of customer care processes and techniques.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional listening, technical, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various learning styles.
• Proficient in using a computer and various software packages.
