About the position

The MVMG Manager I Clinics position in Las Cruces, NM, is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the financial, personnel, patient care, operational, and physician billing activities of clinic practices. The manager will initiate, plan, and lead initiatives aimed at improving established processes, facilitating operational efficiencies, directing recruitment, and enhancing productivity and satisfaction within the clinic. This role serves as the primary administrative interface between the clinic, its physician practices and departments, and the community at large. In this position, the manager will be tasked with managing daily operations, which includes overseeing staffing, patient flow, budgets, and the overall efficiency of operations. The essential duties and responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating daily operations to ensure a productive and efficient work environment, determining the qualifications and competencies required for clinic staff, and recruiting, selecting, training, and assigning work to staff members. The manager will also develop performance standards, evaluate staff performance, and make recommendations for personnel actions such as hiring, terminating, promoting, demoting, and disciplining staff as necessary. Additionally, the manager will work closely with leadership to prepare and maintain an annual budget, manage and analyze accounts receivable and accounts payable, and ensure that invoices are promptly prepared for payment. Handling inquiries, researching problems, providing solutions, and incorporating quality improvement data and patient satisfaction data into clinic goals are also key responsibilities. The manager will facilitate physician and staff training as required, implement guidelines, enforce clinic policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards for all medical records. Furthermore, the manager will be responsible for ordering and monitoring inventories for staff and medical supplies, ensuring accuracy in payments, billing, and vendor contracts, and overseeing all operational activities that directly relate to the daily operations of the clinic. Other duties may be assigned by leadership as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees, monitors and evaluates daily operations of the clinic to ensure a productive and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
  • High School diploma or GED.
