About the position
As an Art Director at Marketing Werks, you will be responsible for discovering, presenting, and delivering creative solutions across various marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong background in marketing and exceptional visual thinking to set high standards for the agency's work, whether for existing clients, growth prospects, or internal projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Copywriter and other members of the department to concept and refine ideas across media
- Present and discuss creative work internally
- Interpret briefs to discover insights and foundations for creative development
- Articulate direction to fulfillment partners (fabricators, printers, etc.)
- Liaise with counterparts in other disciplines of marketing to ensure integrated work
- Lead the agency's work to a higher aesthetic and reputation
- Professionally represent Marketing Werks in the marketplace
- Other duties as assigned that support the overall agency, department and program goals
Requirements
- Portfolio of produced work
- A minimum of 4 years' experience working full-time as a creative person within marketing
- Superior visual problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 6, as well as PowerPoint and/or Keynote
- Strong researching skills
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and flexibility in daily work
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organization/time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to project manage and handle multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced agency setting
- Able to travel
