You will take on a new challenge and apply your detailed N&T Backbone Transmission Network design expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure that our engineering solutions are not only robust and efficient but also meet stringent cybersecurity standards. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (including installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts), develop and maintain design documents in accordance with project milestones, and much more.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and participating in Design Reviews
  • Developing and eliciting BTN Design requirements in line with project needs
  • Minimizing N&T BTN deployment cost, lead time, and risks by design
  • Maintaining close follow-up on technical gaps implementation
  • Participating in the support of the functional validation phase of the sub-system
  • Providing iteration of the installation studies specific to N&T sub-system for BTN part
  • Providing configuration files all along project life cycle till end of warranty period
  • Participating upon request, to Installation & T&C activities support activities to validate E2E performance, including support to troubleshooting tasks

Requirements

  • Degree in networking, Computer Science, or other related field
  • Experience or understanding of LAN/WAN design elaboration
  • Knowledge of GbEthernet solutions and Cybersecurity competencies
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, traffic analysis, and general IP techniques
  • A certification like CISCO CCNA is preferred
  • Experience in SDH and IP-MPLS solutions
  • Experience of fiber deployments and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of RFC protocols, IP routing, QoS, and familiarity with major telco suppliers (Cisco, Hirschmann, Westermo)
