About the position

Epic Nails and Spa is looking for a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. This part-time position involves being the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations using our booking system.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
• Answer phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
• Communicate effectively with technicians and other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Assist in supervising the front desk operations, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
• Showcase new offerings or promotions to clients.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and daily reconciliations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred; experience in a salon or beauty environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is essential.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are required to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
• Experience in supervising staff or managing front desk operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
