We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage phone calls, including appointment scheduling, inquiries, and follow-ups with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Process transactions accurately using a cash register and handle cash with care.
- Promote salon services and products through effective sales techniques, including upselling when appropriate.
- Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and inviting for clients.
- Assist in managing the appointment calendar to optimize scheduling efficiency.
- Provide support to salon staff as needed, facilitating smooth operations throughout the day.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding services offered and any special promotions or events.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in retail sales or a grocery store environment.
- Strong sales skills with a proven ability to upsell products or services effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members alike.
