About the position

The Named Account Executive for Nonprofit Cloud at Salesforce is responsible for driving sales within nonprofit organizations that have between 75 to 500 employees. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities and managing a territory of nonprofit accounts, emphasizing the importance of value-based selling and building strong relationships with clients. The position is part of a dedicated team that aims to leverage Salesforce's technology to empower change makers and improve the state of the world.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Nonprofit Cloud to organizations with 75-500 employees.
  • Lead a territory of nonprofit accounts, focusing on both new and existing business.
  • Partner with internal resources to enhance value and expertise for clients.
  • Generate a sales pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment.
  • Sell based on value and return on investment rather than just technical features.
  • Build credibility and trust to influence buying decisions.
  • Uncover business initiatives and challenges to align solutions with client needs.
  • Create demand by identifying business problems and matching them to Salesforce solutions.
  • Understand business operations and priorities that influence C-level decisions.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 3 years in the field.
  • Experience selling to C-suite executives.
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations to diverse buyers.
