About the position
Crown is seeking R&D Engineers at various levels to contribute to the NAMS-2 project in Mountain View, CA. The role involves performing statistical and data analyses to evaluate the benefits of advanced air mobility (AAM) concepts and technologies. Engineers will be responsible for data visualization, documentation of methodologies, and creating user guides to support research and development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform statistical and data analyses to characterize and quantify the benefits of ATM concepts and technologies.
- Quantify and interpret various metrics to assess the benefits.
- Write Python scripts to format data and create visualizations such as scatter plots, histograms, or confusion matrices.
- Create reports and user guides to document research and development activities.
- Document methodologies for vertiport placement and conduct system-level analysis, conceptual design, and prototype implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering for Level I and II; Master's degree or higher for Level III.
- 0-3 years of related experience for Level I.
- 3-5 years of related experience for Level II.
- 5+ years of related experience for Level III.
Benefits
