About the position

Crunch Care is seeking dedicated childcare providers to join our team as nannies. This role involves providing temporary and backup care for children of all ages in their homes, ensuring their safety, happiness, and engagement through various activities. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to families.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary and backup childcare for children of all ages in their homes.
• Ensure the safety, happiness, and engagement of the children.
• Plan and participate in activities such as singing, playing games, and following meal or nap schedules.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding care and schedules.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional childcare experience with infants, preschoolers, toddlers, and/or elementary school-aged children.
• Stellar communication skills.
• Energetic, happy, and flexible attitude.
• Consistent employment history with no tardiness or no-shows.
• CPR Certification and First Aid certification (must obtain within a few weeks of employment).
• Driver's License in most areas (not necessary in NYC and SF).
• Availability for at least 5 full weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 6 pm.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a nanny, babysitter, daycare provider, or teacher.
• Comfortable using texting and email for communication.
