About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment, primarily during the evening hours after school, approximately four days per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and will be responsible for engaging them in age-appropriate activities while ensuring their safety and supporting their developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and engage in educational and recreational activities tailored to the children's age and interests.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment, including cleaning up after meals and activities.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities and any concerns.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe play environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience caring for children in various settings such as nannying, daycare, or caregiving.
• Strong understanding of infant care, toddler care, and preschool developmental milestones.
• Ability to cook healthy meals suitable for children.
• Knowledge of first aid practices to ensure children's safety.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
• A clean background with a focus on maintaining hygiene standards in childcare settings.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
