About the position
The Nanny/Family Assistant position in Boulder, CO, is designed to support a single father in managing his household and caring for his two school-age children. The role requires a proactive individual who can handle various responsibilities, including transportation, meal preparation, and activity coordination, while also providing emotional support and guidance to the children. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with preteens and teens, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive the children from school and to other engagements.
- Ensure the children complete their schoolwork and chores.
- Manage all extracurricular activities, including coordination with organizations.
- Set up, manage, and adjust the family calendar.
- Outsource house maintenance and maintain household inventory.
- Grocery shopping and meal planning, prepping, and preparing dinners.
- Plan activities and vacations.
- Create written plans and update the children's father on status.
- Adjust priorities and meet deadlines accordingly.
Requirements
- 5 years professional nanny/family assistant experience
- Extensive experience with preteens and teens
- Strong executive management skills
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport or willingness to obtain
- CPR + First Aid certified or willingness to obtain
- Verifiable references
