About the position

Lovely family in Elmhurst is seeking a part-time Nanny/House Manager to join their family as soon as possible. The family consists of a 12-year-old, a 10-year-old, and a 4-month-old baby. They are looking for a detailed and proactive individual who can help the family function at their best. As they are new to nanny care, they are excited to collaborate with a professional who can assist in managing their household and caring for their children. This role will involve partnering with a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) to divide tasks effectively. The nanny will spend quality time with the baby while also engaging with the older boys. The oldest son has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), so familiarity or experience with this condition is a bonus, although it is not a requirement. The nanny will ensure that everyone is where they need to be, both in terms of extracurricular activities and homework, while also attending to the baby's changing needs alongside the mother. The family values outdoor activities, such as park trips and engaged play, and aims to provide a happy and loving environment for their children. They are looking for a long-term commitment of at least one year. The position requires a Tdap vaccine and is dog-friendly. While being comfortable driving the family car is preferred, it is not mandatory. The start date is as soon as possible, ideally within weeks, and the schedule is flexible for the right candidate. The guaranteed set weekly pay is for 20-30 hours per week, with the possibility of adding extra hours depending on the candidate's preference. Additionally, the family would like to schedule date nights twice a month.
