About the position
Jovie is seeking compassionate and reliable Nanny's to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, including infant care and meal preparation, and possess a strong commitment to the well-being and development of children. This role requires someone who is attentive, organized, and able to create a safe and engaging atmosphere for children of various ages.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children, including tidying up play areas and preparing for daily activities.
- Provide basic caregiving tasks such as diaper changes, bathing, and dressing infants or toddlers.
- Assist with homework and educational activities for older children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, needs, and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the overall health and safety of the children.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare or nannying is required, including working with infants and young children.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience in daycare settings or similar environments is REQUIRED.
- Ability to cook simple meals and prepare snacks for children.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on creating a positive atmosphere for children's growth.
