The Narrative Content Editor plays a pivotal role in shaping the storytelling landscape for Cornerstone's Immerse team. This position is dedicated to ensuring that all narrative content is not only compelling but also aligns with the overarching goals of the organization. The editor will oversee the interactive writing process, ensuring that the story structure is robust and that gamification elements derived from dialogue-based gameplay are effectively integrated. This role requires a blend of editorial expertise, writing skills, and a passion for leveraging generative AI to enhance customer interactions and content creation. In this capacity, the Narrative Content Editor will act as the primary editor for all learning narrative content, maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to best practices in narrative design. The editor will supervise writing for story-driven projects, providing constructive feedback and guidance to writers to foster innovation and creativity in learning experiences. It is essential that the narrative design remains consistent with Cornerstone Immerse's design philosophies and the goals of XR-for-enterprise. The role also encompasses team oversight, where the editor will manage freelance writers, narrative designers, and vendors. Strong project management skills are crucial, as the editor will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, managing narrative-related invoicing, and developing strategies for risk mitigation. Identifying and managing external staffing needs for writing production will also be a key responsibility. In terms of narrative design and documentation, the editor will craft engaging interactive stories and dialogues, implement story structures within the platform, and collaborate with customers to address narrative and creative challenges. The editor will also be tasked with developing prompts that enhance the quality of AI-generated content and documenting the Immerse team's narrative design principles and best practices. Training users of the Immerse Creator Tool will be an additional responsibility. Furthermore, the Narrative Content Editor will play a significant role in exploring and maturing generative AI practices, ensuring that high-quality learning outcomes are achieved while broadening the use cases for AI in content creation. This includes utilizing generative AI tools for content ideation, script writing, dialogue generation, and rapid prototyping. Collaboration with various teams, including the Learning team, Production team, and Product team, will be essential to ensure that narrative design supports skill development and meets quality standards.
