About the position

The National Account Manager for Farm, Ranch, and Agricultural at MAT Holdings, Inc. is responsible for establishing and managing relationships with distributors, dealers, and buying groups in North America. This role focuses on growing existing customer relationships, expanding product portfolios, and leading a field sales team to optimize business performance. The position requires strategic planning, sales forecasting, and the ability to analyze market trends to drive new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales planning function, including designing and implementing tools and procedures for resource utilization in sales.
  • Cultivate new business relationships with distributors, dealers, and buying groups in the Farm, Ranch, and Agricultural channels.
  • Establish expertise in products internally and externally, driving new product opportunities to the Product Management team.
  • Apply the company's vision and strategies to potential sales channels and develop new growth opportunities.
  • Develop systems for accurate revenue forecasting, unit demands, and order flow management.
  • Create processes to monitor and predict seasonal order index movement.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Conduct margin analysis on new and existing customer programs and maintain program documentation.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products.
  • Deliver sales presentations and manage relationships with new and existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Minimum ten years of account sales experience.
  • Sales experience in Farm, Ranch, and Agriculture sales is required.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent sales and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and customer relation skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
