About the position

The National Account Executive (NAE) at AEG is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities while enhancing brand experience. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing existing partnerships, and aligning business development strategies with company goals. The NAE plays a crucial role in maintaining and expanding the company's market presence through effective relationship management and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development plan
  • Increase overall sales and maintain current accounts while promoting the AEG Brand for new potential business
  • Manage sales-related expenses to ensure wise spending with a positive ROI
  • Create and maintain a master account list
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers to understand their business objectives
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities
  • Assess marketing and sales operations and recommend improvements
  • Research emerging trends and recommend new company offers to satisfy customer needs
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
  • Present business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management
  • Assist the accounting department with collection of outstanding receivables as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of Sales Management experience
  • Proven track record as a team leader
  • Demonstrated project and budget management skills
  • Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles
  • Extensive knowledge of industry principles and best practices
  • Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software
