About the position

The National Account Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing a National Accounts program aimed at binding large national accounts to BOPLAN exclusively, driving sales growth through these accounts across their nationwide network. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and negotiation of national contracts to establish BOPLAN as the preferred vendor.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a National Accounts program to drive sales growth.
  • Study existing and potential customer bases to identify qualifying national accounts.
  • Write business plans for each national account to set goals.
  • Identify CRM best practices for recording and updating account plans and activities.
  • Conduct contact mining to understand account structures and gather decision makers.
  • Determine custom value propositions and formulate framework agreements for national contracts.
  • Negotiate national contracts including commitments on products, volume, pricing, and rebate programs.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to communicate account plans and drive sales.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to achieve successful outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strategically plan customer visits to build relationships and communicate competitive strengths.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Management of Key- and/or National Accounts, preferably in Material Handling or Industrial Sales.
  • Proven ability to set sales strategies and sell in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, management, and delegation skills.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the product.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in industrial sales or related fields.
  • Ability to travel extensively (50-70% of the time).
