About the position

The National Account Manager at ImmunityBio is responsible for leading and supporting the vision and strategy for securing reimbursement with commercial and government payers for the company's promoted products. This role requires collaboration across various departments to align strategies and priorities, ensuring effective product access in a dynamic marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the vision and strategy for securing reimbursement with commercial and government payers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and Medical teams.
  • Cover all accounts in the geographical region, including commercial and government payers, IDNs, and GPOs.
  • Develop product access strategies and tactics for specific managed markets customer segments.
  • Execute comprehensive payer-specific reimbursement strategic plans and resolve access issues.
  • Identify competitive threats and develop response strategies for optimal payer access.
  • Communicate complex information to multiple stakeholders.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and ImmunityBio's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • BA in Business or Life Sciences; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the US pharma/biotech industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Market Access capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, MAC, and Medicaid Fee for Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage complexities in a fast-growing biotech environment.
  • Excellent understanding of US payer environment and market dynamics.
