About the position

The National Account Sales Manager at Mickey Truck Bodies is responsible for strengthening relationships with key national clients and expanding the company's presence in international markets. This role involves selling the entire product portfolio to assigned accounts, focusing on corporate headquarters and key decision-makers, while collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs and exceed performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and new prospects.
  • Prospect key assigned national accounts to grow the presence of Mickey Truck Bodies in all markets.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and prospects.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, completing specific needs assessments for assigned accounts and new large prospects.
  • Maintain and manage assigned customer price books on an annual basis, working closely with internal Finance and external vendors.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales Management, or a similar field.
  • 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Management, Sales Management, and Marketing.
  • Strong leadership and sales skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data for decision-making.
  • Understanding of market trends and adaptability to follow those trends.
  • Motivational and influential with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers at all levels of organizations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience working with business and industry.
  • Possess a formidable implementation skillset with a process mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
