About the position

Ring-O-Matic, a leading manufacturer of vacuum excavators, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Sales Manager. This position is pivotal in managing and expanding relationships with key national accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, client management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the company's product offerings and the ability to develop customized solutions that cater to the unique needs of national clients. In this role, the National Account Sales Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The manager will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and expanding the customer base through new national account acquisitions. Strategic account plans will be developed and implemented to align with the company's business objectives, focusing on long-term relationship building and profitability. The position also involves leading contract negotiations with national accounts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that meet both customer and company objectives. The National Account Sales Manager will work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services to national accounts. Monitoring account performance, preparing regular reports on account activities, and providing insights to senior management on sales trends, opportunities, and potential risks are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the manager will address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by national accounts, working with internal teams to provide effective and timely solutions. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs will be essential to identify new business opportunities and keep Ring-O-Matic at the forefront of the market.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial equipment industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of managing large national accounts and driving sales growth.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
