About the position

The National Account Specialist is responsible for processing inbound opportunities and supporting outbound development efforts. This role involves working closely with National Service Providers (NSP) representatives and districts to promote SMART solutions through product adoption. The position is primarily remote but includes up to 40% seasonal travel to engage with end-customers and Channel Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Service and qualify inbound contacts to engage prospective customers and NSP reps.
  • Execute outbound prospecting to non-SMART customers through research, cold calls, emails, and social media.
  • Research targeted accounts to determine the best messaging and correct contacts.
  • Deliver sales presentations and product overviews to customers and NSP reps.
  • Coordinate and execute pre/post event follow-up strategies in collaboration with sales, channel, and marketing teams.
  • Attend select virtual and physical events.
  • Build and prioritize outreach plans for timely follow-up on activities.
  • Develop relationships with prospective customers and channel partners within the territory.
  • Develop strong industry and product knowledge, and sales messaging.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in Sales and/or Education.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and teams remotely.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong time-management and planning skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on results and urgency towards reaching goals.
  • A valid passport or no impediment to obtaining one.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce and other CRMs.
  • Experience with social media, marketing, and sales.
  • Experience working with CDW.
