About the position

The National Accounts Lead for Sanofi Vaccines is a leadership role focused on managing a team of Directors of National Accounts and Contract Specialists within the National Health System (NHS) market. This position is pivotal in driving sales through strategic B2B customer engagement and contract management, while fostering relationships with key stakeholders to enhance Sanofi's market presence. The role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and the ability to lead teams towards achieving sales goals and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving sales goals through execution of comprehensive B2B customer strategies and contract strategies.
  • Coaching team members to surface the voice of the customer and translate it into innovative solutions.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers to co-create value and sustainable business relationships.
  • Conducting robust business planning and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the incorporation of brand strategies into broader National Health System strategies.
  • Ensuring execution of Account Management and Brand team strategies.
  • Activating internal teams to enhance Sanofi's market position through novel solutions.
  • Serving as an engaged sponsor during RFPs and contract negotiations across product lines.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop channel strategies that prioritize customer needs.
  • Representing the company at industry conferences and market events.
  • Continuously learning about the evolving US Healthcare landscape and translating insights into actionable strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years leading account management teams in the healthcare industry, specifically in National Health System markets.
  • 10+ years of related experience in the life sciences industry and/or B2B sales.
  • Proven experience leading teams in a B2B capacity and identifying opportunities for innovative solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Broad understanding of National Health System business and decision-making processes.
  • Ability to coach team members and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing complex customer relationships at the C-suite level.
