About the position
The National Accounts Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding the customer base by providing power distribution solutions. This role involves developing direct relationships with larger national accounts, promoting the organization's products, and leveraging technical knowledge to enhance sales and product development.
Responsibilities
- Develop direct relationships with larger national accounts.
- Call on national accounts to promote the organization's products and/or services.
- Recommend changes in marketing policy, advertising, and sales promotion activities.
- Coordinate assistance/interface from technical services, engineering, and marketing as required.
- Monitor quotations and installations.
- Provide input and assistance with promotion and advertising programs.
- Perform field promotional work to sell and develop new business accounts.
- Demonstrate products/services and assist in the best application of the product.
- Inform the company regarding marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of sales experience.
- Broad comprehensive knowledge and understanding of sales functions and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
