About the position

The Food Operations Manager position at Sodexo is a mobile management role designed for individuals with 3+ years of management experience in high-volume dining operations. This role involves traveling nationally to various segments, providing leadership and supervision to on-site food service staff, and ensuring client satisfaction and contract retention. The position offers a unique opportunity to build a personal brand and develop additional skills while working within Sodexo's diverse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision for the on-site food service staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client.
  • Utilize Sodexo tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships and ensure account retention.
  • Supervise food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and contract retention for the company.
  • Implement business practices to uphold company mission, values, and commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement.
  • Develop and implement plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume dining operation.
  • Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Management Experience - 2 years.
  • Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in various food service environments such as restaurants, fast food, catering services, and institutional services.
