About the position

The Food Operations Manager position at Sodexo is a mobile management role designed for individuals with 3+ years of management experience in high-volume dining operations. This role involves traveling nationally to oversee food service operations, ensuring client satisfaction and contract retention while developing personal branding and skills across multiple segments. The position includes comprehensive onboarding and training, with a minimum commitment of nine months.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for the on-site food service staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client.
• Utilize Sodexo tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships and ensure account retention.
• Supervise food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and contract retention for the company.
• Implement business practices to uphold company mission, values, and commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement.
• Develop and implement plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan.

Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume dining operation.
• Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Basic Management Experience - 2 years.
• Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
