The National Director of Development (NDOD) will lead a best-in-class development function at Sunda LLC, focusing on enhancing the company's growth through strategic planning and execution. This role is pivotal in collaborating with both internal and external financial resources to create comprehensive financial models, including individual ROI and IRR models, and to engage in overall capital planning that spans multiple years. The NDOD will be responsible for site search and selection, negotiating business terms and structures, and managing lease agreements in conjunction with external legal resources. Additionally, the role involves building out cost projections based on historical data and real-time market research, ensuring quality control on projects, and overseeing the completion of punch lists and warranty visits for all development work. The NDOD will work closely with the CEO and executive team to plan, budget, analyze, and execute the company's business growth development plan. This includes leading the growth development plan from market analysis and site selection through to pro forma development, groundbreaking, and project completion. The NDOD will also enhance revenue through menu development, pricing strategies, and exploring ancillary business opportunities. Investor relations are a key component of this role, requiring the NDOD to foster new relationships with investors and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, achieving expected sales projections. In addition to project management, the NDOD will oversee a complex real estate portfolio, focusing on delivering 2 to 3 new sites annually while managing ongoing oversight of all real estate assets. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
