About the position

The National Driver Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and qualifying candidates for driving positions to meet the capacity needs of Operating Companies. This role involves constant communication with operating companies, managing the driver pipeline, and ensuring that applicants meet safety and qualification criteria.

Responsibilities

• Recruit quality candidates for driving positions.
• Assist in managing the driver pipeline to satisfy capacity needs.
• Communicate regularly with operating companies about open positions.
• Develop trust and partnership with operating companies.
• Conduct 2-3 calls each week with operating companies to discuss driver pipeline and address any issues.
• Train processors in collaboration with the Recruiting Manager.
• Make outbound and answer incoming recruiting calls throughout the day.
• Process applicants from initial contact to Qualified Pending by Safety Risk Management.
• Track and update all applicants in the Tenstreet platform.
• Verify applicants' previous driving experience as part of driver qualification.
• Reduce review time for safety by providing quality applicant files.
• Manage time efficiently to handle incoming calls and applicants in Tenstreet.
• Attend one training seminar each month.

Requirements

• 2 years or more experience in driver recruiting.
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Experience using the Tenstreet platform.
• Proficient in DOT and FMCSA Regulations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time well.
