About the position

The National Healthcare Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the marketing efforts for NAC's specialized healthcare practice. This position is designed for an individual who is passionate about healthcare marketing and has a proven track record in managing national marketing initiatives. The manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with the company's vision of delivering next-generation healthcare advisory, programming, planning, and design services. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the context of architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C). The manager will collaborate closely with Health Practice Leadership to create and organize marketing materials that support business development pursuits, ensuring that all marketing efforts are cohesive and effective. In addition to managing marketing materials, the National Healthcare Marketing Manager will participate in both local and national meetings focused on client engagement and business development. This includes supporting the development of an annual healthcare marketing plan and coordinating monthly business development pipeline reports. The manager will also work with the internal research team to create advanced client engagement profiles, ensuring that the marketing strategies are data-driven and tailored to meet client needs. The role involves overseeing the production of proposals and marketing collateral, ensuring that all materials adhere to brand standards and are of the highest quality. The manager will also be responsible for training stakeholders on brand standards and the use of marketing collateral. Furthermore, the position requires a proactive approach to increasing the visibility of the firm's thought leadership in the healthcare industry through various media channels. The National Healthcare Marketing Manager will lead a team of Marketing Coordinators, organizing their efforts to support health practice pursuits and ensuring that all marketing systems are maintained according to established standards. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent time management skills, and has a strong sense of initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the local and national marketing support team on healthcare pursuits and business development.
  • Partner with Health Practice Leadership to manage and develop standard marketing materials.
  • Participate in local and national meetings related to client engagement and marketing.
  • Support the development of the annual Healthcare marketing plan.
  • Coordinate and organize monthly business development pipeline and client engagement reports.
  • Work with the internal research team to develop advanced client engagement profiles.
  • Support and coach marketing pursuit teams in proposal and interview production.
  • Engage in the development of marketing collaterals and responses to RFI/RFQ/RFP.
  • Implement marketing brand standards for the Health Practice from NAC brand standards.
  • Develop and execute training programs for stakeholders on brand standards.
  • Assist in increasing the visibility of firm intelligence and thought leadership in the healthcare industry.
  • Organize and manage Marketing Coordinators assigned to support Health Practice pursuits.
  • Oversee and refine proposal production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to graphic standards.
  • Plan and organize marketing meetings, campaigns, public relations, and social media activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage existing marketing systems and maintain project case study data and client contact database.
  • Organize and lead Health Practice sales meetings for stakeholders.
  • Review BD pipeline and allocate resources for successful conversion to sales.
  • Support the collection of information relevant to the Go/No-Go process for opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain national client engagement and marketing collateral.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of ten years of related experience in the A/E/C industry, with healthcare architecture experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex proposal and presentation requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Certification as a member of SMPS preferred.
