About the position

The National Key Account Manager at LG Chem America, Inc. is responsible for growing existing business and developing national strategic partnerships within the Water/Wastewater industry. This role focuses on executing the company's go-to-market strategy, managing key account sales, and conducting technical sales presentations to potential industrial clients. The position is fully remote, requiring the manager to be located near a major airport for travel purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the company's go-to-market strategy within allocated key accounts.
  • Identify and manage sales opportunities to achieve annual sales objectives.
  • Manage key account sales pipeline within SalesForce to achieve quarterly backlog growth.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations with the engineering team to develop leads for key accounts.
  • Identify and structure relationships with national strategic partners to help achieve sales targets.
  • Deliver market data and reports to the management team as required by the Commercial Director.
  • Manage sales opportunities through the entire commercial process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in sales or marketing in the Water/Wastewater treatment industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and client network in the RO and water treatment industry.
  • Proven ability to interface effectively with customers.
  • Experience managing national accounts and partnering with regional sales staff to drive sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with global stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of local and global market trends with the ability to deliver clear insights.
  • Track record of leading successful business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior success in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Competitive product knowledge and industry trends in Water/Wastewater.
  • Work experience in the RO desalination industry.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in sales or marketing to key accounts with significant brackish water membrane spends in North America.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and written and verbal English skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SalesForce.
  • Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
