About the position

The National Marketing Director at Century Communities plays a pivotal role in strategically aligning divisional and regional marketing efforts with the overall branding and marketing strategies of the company. This position is essential for ensuring consistency in marketing communications across all divisions and regions, while also managing internal processes and fostering the growth of regional account managers. The National Marketing Director will be responsible for driving both short-term and long-term marketing strategies that align with the company's goals, new community openings, and traffic metrics. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with various teams to ensure that all marketing requests are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and branding guidelines. In this hybrid position, the National Marketing Director will oversee regional account managers who liaise directly with divisional marketing teams and leadership. The role involves managing the internal marketing department processes to ensure timely and accurate deliverables, as well as ensuring that all marketing materials are legally approved and effectively drive qualified traffic to the company's offerings. The National Marketing Director will also partner with the VP of Sales and Marketing to maintain clear communication regarding division-level activities, traffic, goals, and performance metrics. Additionally, the National Marketing Director will be expected to be an expert in CRM and CMS platforms, ensuring that all divisional pages are up-to-date and reflect the company's branding standards. This role will also involve collaboration with the Digital Team to analyze campaign performance and make necessary adjustments based on data insights. The National Marketing Director will manage vendor relationships and work closely with content and social media teams to execute high-performing campaigns. Overall, this position is critical for driving the marketing vision of Century Communities and ensuring that the company remains a leader in the homebuilding industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive short and long-term marketing strategies for all Century Communities divisions and Century Complete regions based on goals and new community openings.
  • Manage regional account managers who work directly with divisional marketing team members and divisional leadership.
  • Collaborate to manage the internal marketing department process to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Ensure all marketing requests align with Century Communities and Century Complete's strategy and branding guidelines.
  • Partner with VP of Sales and Marketing to ensure clear communication on division-level activity, traffic, goals, and performance.
  • Support divisional marketing team members by providing strategic direction and training new members.
  • Be an expert in CRM and CMS platforms, ensuring all divisional pages are up-to-date and compliant with branding standards.
  • Partner with the Digital Team to review campaign performance and advise on timely adjustments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with content and social teams for high-performing social campaigns.
  • Coordinate campaign and national messaging with Corporate Marketing Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of marketing management experience.
  • Prior experience working with a corporate marketing team or within an ad agency is required.
  • Experience managing a team of account managers is a must.
  • Previous residential homebuilding marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales and marketing concepts.
  • Strong, data-driven analytical skills.
  • Current with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with customers, agencies, and employees.
  • Ability to operate in a high-energy, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
