About the position

Hager Companies is seeking an experienced and dynamic National Residential Sales Manager to lead sales efforts and expand national account relationships. This role involves managing and mentoring a team of sales representatives, developing strategic sales plans, and identifying new market opportunities to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand national account relationships and market share.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and accountability within the sales team.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings, support service levels, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly report on sales performance and adjust strategies to meet changing market conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of experience in a sales management and/or national account management position in residential building materials required.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including presentation skills.
  • Exceptional team building, coaching, and collaboration skills are required.
  • Negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are important.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
