About the position

The National Retail Sales Director at Rockline will lead the North American retail account operations, focusing on developing and executing sales strategies that align with corporate financial objectives. This role emphasizes strategic leadership, customer-centric approaches, and team development, ensuring that the retail sales team meets and exceeds customer needs while embodying the company's core values of Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear strategic direction to the Retail Sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Engage with cross-functional leadership teams to develop and refine the overall sales strategy.
  • Act as the bridge between Sales Directors and home office, ensuring customer needs are effectively communicated.
  • Drive the customer account strategy through 3-year plans, maximizing return on investment.
  • Mentor and develop retail Sales Directors, integrating them into the broader business through key projects.
  • Oversee and manage the assigned budget, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the RRITE Values and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, preferably in a Private Label setting.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving results with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in fact-based selling techniques and knowledge of store operations and P&L management.
