About the position

The National Sales Account Manager at Verifone is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and Verifone Authorized Service Contractors in the assigned region. This role focuses on customer acquisition and revenue growth by maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, discovering new business opportunities, and executing structured sales visits. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, including making presentations, understanding customer needs, and achieving sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and Verifone Authorized Service Contractors in the region.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and service contractors to grow business.
  • Discover business opportunities and improve sales strategies based on market trends and competitor data.
  • Plan, lead, and execute regular structured sales visits with prospects and existing customers.
  • Make presentations to customers and recommend Verifone products and solutions.
  • Hunt and acquire new clients from competitor solutions.
  • Understand key business drivers of prospects to optimize Verifone's positioning.
  • Host regular lunch and learns with strategic accounts to inform them about new offerings.
  • Document all sales activities accurately in Salesforce.
  • Maintain timely and accurate forecasting in Salesforce on a weekly basis.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas within the territory.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads within the assigned territory.
  • Report ongoing sales activity and metrics to the head of sales.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful sales achievements within the petroleum industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive approach to work.
  • Impeccable organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
