About the position

The National Sales Account Manager at Jen-Coat Inc is responsible for driving new business development and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role involves collaboration with various internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth. The position requires regular travel to meet with customers and manage accounts effectively, while also preparing budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Find and close new business collaboratively with Sales, Product Development, Production, Quality, Operations, and Client Services.
  • Build long-term relationships by learning the customers' business.
  • Travel regularly to call on prospective, new, and existing customers, including evening entertainment and overnight stays.
  • Proactively make customer calls and identify revenue-enhancing strategic partnerships.
  • Manage, renew, and upsell existing clients.
  • Prepare monthly and annual budgets and forecasts, and enter data into company software.
  • Coordinate with internal support and operational teams for customer orders.
  • Investigate and communicate quality issues and customer complaints, leveraging teams to resolve opportunities.
  • Respond to RFPs with detailed information in a timely manner.
  • Assist with price, service, and terms negotiations with customers and internal suppliers.
  • Participate in trade shows, market-specific marketing activities, and company promotional events.
  • Engage in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes.
